Welcome to December! I don’t know about yours but mine has been COLD! It’s barely been above 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 Celsius), but the words and Sales have been coming in HOT! 2 sales happening for the Born Angel Universe in December... info at the end of the blog!
Author's Life:
This week was all about writing, staying up late and writing more as NaNoWriMo came to an end on Thursday night. Other than that, all I’ve done is post to social media, make phone calls, and I had my bi-annual endocrinologist appointment for my thyroid yesterday.
I’m so excited for today though! It’s my dad and my yearly Date to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Concert! I am so freaking excited! We haven’t been to see them since 2019 due to covid. And last year we tried to go, but I didn’t get my 2nd vaccine until too late (-_-). BUT this year we have awesome tickets and I’m so excited!
We’ll go to dinner after, and when I get home, I’ll be playing some DiD (Delving into Darkness, think a stripped down version of Dungeons and Dragons) with a few of my Beta Readers and my Manager! I’m so excited for this day of relaxing and fun!
~ Now, on to the business! ~
Writing & Editing:
I ended NaNoWriMo with 117,400 words which is a gain of 21,300 words from the week before and IT’S NOT DONE YET (-_-). It’s SOOO close to done, that I can taste it, but I won’t be able to get to it today because as I have a full day of fun planned! I’ll get back to it on Sunday though!

The Physical book Preorder of An Angel’s Advent has ended… -Ish. If you wanted them before the new year, that's not going to happen now, but if you want signed copies and don't care if they arrive after Christmas, you can still pre-order them. The DRM FREE ebook Pre-order’s are still available too until the 16th!
Only 5 orders were submitted before the 1st, which I was afraid would happen since I only had 11 orders for book 3: A Broken Redeemer, and I finally shipped the last order for the hardcover on Wednesday… I’m bummed about the low presale, but it’s the holidays. It happens. (;_;)
As previously stated in other blogs, every physical book will come with a free eBook copy, because I will not be able to get the books to you by release day or possibly even Christmas due to holiday shipping and printing which is slower.
New Business:
In April, the second book of the Deadly Siren’s Series is being released: Cry Havoc is about Havoc, Melody, or Saga as she’s better known. She is the 2nd and shortest of the Deadly Sirens. This book is rated M/Adult and you can find out ALL the details over on the book page that I’ve just posted!

Art Feature:
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to do art this week. I’ve been much too busy writing and dealing with life stuff (health insurances, doctor’s offices, and other such time-consuming nonsense). So, this is art for Cry Havoc, which comes out in April. This is the Queen, or Bhanrion in Irish Gaelic, of the Cu Sidhe sitting on her throne of bone. This does not come from the book itself, but I made it to go with the book... Also, She's seven-feet, seven inches tall...
Smashwords: End of the Year Sale
Also, on December 15th, Smashwords annual “END OF THE YEAR” sale starts and this year I’m proud to announce that all 6 of the Born Angel Universe eBooks will be FREE via Smashwords website! I will be putting the links into the Blog on the 16th and all over social media on the 15th once I get them all.
