This week, I edited and worked on renders(aka 3D model art)! That was all I allowed myself to do because I needed to finish Chaos Theory, which I completed just before midnight…
Author's Life:
I walked Bella twice a day again, except yesterday… My knee decided to be extra painful. I blame the arthritis and the traffic from Thursday’s drive. For those wondering, I did get to talk to my Endocrinologist, and she listened! Downside was that I had to sit in the lab and wait to get bloodwork done. I was a “walk-in,” so I had to wait until they had someone available which took over an hour. But The bloodwork is now at the lab, and hopefully, I’ll know something before Wednesday next week.
Writing & Editing:
After realizing that I needed to get the Editing of Chaos Theory done ASAP, I did not let myself get on the laptop until I’d done at least 50 pages of the book (That’s 1/9th of the books total page count). I just finished reading it at 11:58 pm Friday Night… So I got 0 writing done this week.
Maxine still has chunk 2 of An Angel Ensnared. 😅 I’m getting a little worried that she’s not going to finish before betas start reading. 🥺 There are only 4 chunks so she’s nearly halfway there… That being said 👇🏻
Publishing:
Beta Signups for Kalista Chronicles book 5: An Angel Ensnared have ended, and the reading will begin June 21st, which is why I’m a little worried. I have 2 email betas and they tend to read through the book FAST, especially Dee. She usually gets through the book in a week at most, which gives me so much energy and motivation to write more that it’s not funny!

If you have read up to Cry Havoc in the Created Angel Chronicles, Beta Reading Signups for Book 5: Chaos Theory Open on Wednesday, July 17th! Why so early? Because I want to get the beta reading done BEFORE the Winter holidays. Beta Reading will start September 20, and end on October 25th. I know this is a week before An Angel Ensnared releases, but again, I want this DONE before the holidays!
Mostly, because I want to be able to relax and write in November for National Novel Writing Month without that distraction. PLUS Chaos deserves all the attention, love, and just... She's my favorite Created Angel Story... to date, so please, SIGN UP! It's gonna be Steamy, Gory, and Adorable!

Art Feature:
This week’s art feature is a fun thing I saw on social media where they show the height difference of Couples from their book/series. I will be putting the rest onto Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok later this week, but here is Kalista and Beryx the OTP* of the Kalista Chronicles and one of my favourite couples, whom you will see a lot more mushy moments from in An Angel Ensnared.
My current reads:
Since I've finished the edits of Chaos Theory, I am back to reading the ARC of One More Time by Nik Robbins. It is a Contemporary Romance, and not my normal read, but I'm enjoying it!
Another "Not my normal Reads" But I LOVE 'Body Guard Romance' movies, so I decided to give it a try. This is a pic of the physical book that I own, I have the audio book too.
