Another new book, because the last one stalled due to being worried about Matt, and this one is being perpetuated by Lilah, as it is about her favorite character.

Author's Life:

    Old business, The car didn't need a new rack and pinion or pump! This means we didn't have an $800-900 repair bill. What happened was the struts (or what not) that hold the rack and pinion in place rusted out. The Rack and pinion was still ok as was the pump (though the pump is a bit loud from not having any fluid for a bit, it's good now), so they fixed the mounting and put it back together. HUGE shout out to our long time mechanic friends for that fix and not breaking the bank!

     New business, this week has been nothing but writing and art for the new book to keep me distracted and worrying less about Matt… I’ve literally done nothing else besides this new book. I’ve posted about it, wrote it, created art of it, and did the regular house chores, life upkeep things, but that’s it.

Editor Update:

     Matt’s open heart surgery went well, they had to do 4 grafts, and his heart showed signs of damage from the silent heart attack. He is still in the ICU, but he’s recovering well and the doctors and staff are happy with his progress. He should be transferred to the cardiac ward within the next few days then home a couple weeks after that. 🤞🏻🙏🏻 I finally got to message him last night.

Writing:

     I haven’t worked on DIRGE OF THE BETRAYED since Thursday of last week, but I started a book that is going to wreck me emotionally. I’ve cried at least five times due to the trauma and talking over what else will happen in this book. The book is titled FATED TO DIE and is about Badb, the oldest of the Irish Fates. It currently has 24,308 words, which is the most words I’ve written in a week all year!

Total word count for the week: 24,308 words

Editing:

       I’ve added the edits of 7 Chapters and the Epilogue of AN ANGEL ENRAGED to the document, but as I said, I’ve been doing more writing and art instead. 😅
