Seeing Double..
Double the word count that is. 😉 I’ve got a lot done this week, even though I didn’t feel like I did because I hadn’t sat down to actually process what I’d done. Now that I have, for this newsletter... It feels a bit unreal.

Author's Life:
Another week of writing, editing, posting, and art as I try not to panic about ordering books a little late, and getting anxious about Book Bash 2026. I haven’t done anything nonwork related this week.
Editor Update:
Matt is home! He arrived home Thursday afternoon and he’s feeling a lot better than he has in awhile, besides the ache pain of the incisions and we’re all very happy to have him back!
The work Life:
Writing:
Been writing like I’m running out of time, and was hoping to have FATED TO DIE finished before Matt got home. I didn’t quite do it, BUT I did more than double the word count from last week. This book is full of adorable moments, hot scenes between Badb and her soulmate, and trauma from both sides. This weeks word count went from 24,308 to 62,583, which means I beat out my highest word count for the week. 😅 Plus I added all the words for the edits of Angel Enraged as well...
Total word count for the week: 41,801 words
Editing:
I’ve Finished edits for AN ANGEL ENRAGED. Now I get to reupload it and get a fresh print for Dad. Matt and I also got back to reading FATED ANGEL and are now on Chapter 22, only 12 chapters to go, including the Epilogue.

Beta Reading for COOKIES & RAGE is so close to done!
The Root App betas are doing amazing even with work and other life issues. I’ve had 7 surveys turned in for chunk 1 (some people were a bit busy or sick still, so didn’t get to read/fill out a survey), 5 for chunk 2, and 5 for chunk 3, and 3 for chunk 4 already. Only one more week left!
They’re still loving it, and I am enjoying their responses to the survey. 💗
