For the last week of March, we have All the book things! I finished one, got in a proof copy of another, a shipment of Deadly Sirens pre orders arrived, AND I’m editing another one with hopes to finish it this coming week!

Author's Life:

     Well, last week, I jinxed it with “No news is good news.” This week, I have news and it’s not great… The hydraulics for the back hatch on the car decided to quit this week sometime. I fell on my bad knee at the grocery store yesterday, and it’s NOT happy. Dale also smashed his thumb again, so he went to the Urgent Care to get Xray’s and make sure he didn’t rebreak it. He didn’t, thank God, but it is going to be sore for a bit.

       For the good news, I have received the first batch of books for Deadly Sirens, AND the Hardcovers finally shipped! Hardcovers arrive Monday, and I’ll hopefully get everything packed and ready to ship so they’ll be delivered on release day (April 9^th, which is also Matt’s birthday). I also got in the first PROOF COPY of THE FATED ANGEL! It’s so pretty! 

Editor Update:

     Matt’s been home 2 weeks, and he’s walking a little bit more every day to help with heart stuff. He’s been slowly feeling better, and we’re all happy he is.

The work Life:

Writing:

     FATED TO DIE is finished! It came in at 107,206 words! Though only 104,625 stayed in it… but that’s still 16,946 words that I wrote into that book this week! I haven’t started writing anything else this week, but I have started editing A SOULMATE OF HER OWN, which needed more of a rework than I thought. I added 865 words into it just in editing. 😅

     Total word count for the week: 17,881 words

     Total word count for the month: 113,899

Editing:

      Matt and I have gotten 19 chapters into DEATH, DESIRES, & INNER DEMONS and Lilah finished 2 more of the KaliLing novels so she could catch up to SOULMATE OF HER OWN and I have the proof copy of FATED ANGEL to edit!

     Total books edited this month: 8

     This month, I’ve made 27 pictures… including the one currently rendering, and I should be able to squeeze in one more before the month ends.

     Since I've shown off the paperback, I should do a full cover reveal. Here we have Leighla and Forseti with their wings and weapons out. Very Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance-esque. I will have the book blog up this week!

    Beta Reading for this book will be from September 11 - October 23rd and will be 5 chunks because it is 151k words, and 149k is story content! 😲 Sign up starts June 2nd.
