The 200th newsletter drops on June 6th, and I’d like to do something interesting and fun. I have narrowed it down to a character takeover, but now it’s a Which character do you want to take over… I have 3 options:
1) Kalista (FMC of the Kalista Chronicles)
2) Leighla Tenebrae (FMC of Stained Angel and next year’s Fated Angel)
3) Astrid… FMC of Cookies & Rage.

Author's Life:
This week has been all about the books! Cookies & Rage is now available everywhere it can be before release day, including the pre order here. Shout out to Aunt Denise, Debbie, and Lilah for ordering already!
I’ve been trying to fix my social battery and fix the spoon drawer this week (If that last doesn’t make sense, google the spoonie theory), and so far, I’m doing better. Slowly getting back into a routine while trying to sell the 60 book stock I now have… Marketing was never my strong suit, and more often than not, it’s friends and family who purchase books… I’m not complaining about that, I’m very happy you all like the books and read them, but it’d be nice if all the effort I put into posting about my books online would actually make some revenue.
Alright, enough complaining! The Muse has kept me up many nights this week working on the newest book. A few nights I crawled into bed as my husband was waking up for work, which he's been leaving early for every day because he was driving instead of carpooling with my dad. It's been a weird week, but TO THE BOOKS!
The Books:
Writing:
Dirge of the Betrayed has a few more words than last week, but I mostly worked on *Drum roll* The Author and the CEO, which is the OFFICIAL title of my newest WIP.
Total word count for the week: 20,545 words
May Word Count Goal: 55,000 current progress 95.4%
Editing:
I’ve edited through the new WIP, which I tend to do once a story reaches 40k, it’s now at 55,670 words now. Anyway, I haven’t edited anything else, and Matt hasn’t worked on Cookies & Rage this week. He had a few doctor’s appointments and stuff this week.
Publishing:
