The One with The Rest and Recuperating
Resting, Recoup, and Writing are my words for this week. Things are settling down again, hopefully—fingers crossed—For now I’m working on books and the edits to An Angel Falls from beta readers.
Author's Life:
This week has been very quiet. I had one day out of the house that wasn’t my usual errand day, but other than that, it’s been business as usual… Except that I’ve been writing 3 books instead of just one. (>_<) I normally write one and wait until it’s done to start another, but Cookies and Rage (🍪🍪&🤬) is taking longer and sometimes takes too much brain power especially because it’s been so hot that I’ve gotten headaches or migraines nearly every day this week. I feel that I’ve done more editing in it then actual writing. We shall see!
I have also started a new book, because it jumped into my head on Monday and would not leave me be. So you have that story in the mix now too. ^_^;
The work Life:
Writing:
Cookies & Rage was at 73,135 and is currently at 73,590 so I’ve 215 words of editing. Macha’s book (Life After You) was 26,880 and is now 28,330 for 1,450 words. Now for the big one, the NEW BOOK, which I’m calling Queen of the Unseleighe, is at 10,350 words, and I only started it on Monday. Which brings the total words written to 12,075 for the week. Not too bad, I was hoping for more, but headaches have prevented that.
Beta Readers Wanted!

Publishing:
I’m waiting to drop chunk 3 of An Angel Falls into the beta server. I’m still waiting on them to answer the survey questions and trying not to let my anxiety demon run rampant with lies about it being about the book. 🥺 I know it’s just summer and life, but Social Anxiety and imposter syndrome don’t help anything.

Art Feature:
Since I’ve been getting into 🍪🍪&🤬, I decided to revamp the main character, Astrid, aka Midge or Anarchy. Here she is standing next to her mentor in the Preternatural Marshals, “Mad” Max Áiféiseach. They're over on the left third line, because I wanted this as a wallpaper for my laptop. It makes an adorable wallpaper as I get back to writing Midge's book.

- She is 5'2" or 162.56CM
- Her favorite band is Death Angel
- Her favorite author is Luke MacBeth, and series his Change Comes Softly.
- She is a twin, and the younger one.
- Her twin is her "Exact Opposite" or so she says.
- She has twenty-one piercings in her head. 7 in her face and the other 14 are in her ears.
- She also has two tattoos: one she got in Discord's Nightmare and the other is her eyeliner.
- She is only nine human years old, but Preternaturals mature faster in both body and mind, so she's somewhere between 16 and 17 years mature. NEARLY an "adult."
- She loves gaming, reading, and enjoying time with her Uncle Max.
