It’s the last Friday of January, and I’m going to do something different. The last Friday of every month, I’m going to write more of a summary or “wrap up” for the month.

This year I'm only doing seasonal changes to the picture. For Winter, we have Astrid in the snow.

Author's Life:

      This month has been up and down for this Author. It started great with the return from vacation but around the 15^th things started going downhill and we’re ending on a HOLY OW, that hurts note. I went to bed sore on Thursday after going to see Iron Lung with friends (great Movie 10/10 recommend for horror and “video game remake” lovers), plus weekly errands, and woke up unable to bear weight on my right leg without pain in my hip and/or thigh. I’m unsure what I did, but I’m blaming the cold for part of it.

The work Life:

Monthly Writing:

     I managed a grand total of 57,457 words this month! Mostly in BALLAD OF THE WINGED WRATH, but four other books as well. Not bad at all.

Writing:

      This week, BALLAD OF THE WINGED WRATH went from 37,375 words to 41,060 because I was focusing on the cover art for THE STOLEN SOULMATE. I edited the entire book and added 4,978 words, shifted chapters around, and finished the cover last night… I can’t show it off as it won’t come out until 2030... On that note, check out the publishing schedule to see the books that are coming for the next 5 years!

      Total word count for the week: 8,663 words

Editing:

      This month’s edits were full books! 😃

       Only managed to edit The Stolen Soulmate this week… The full thing. All 16 chapters… Nothing in Angel Enraged or THE FATED ANGEL with Matt. I didn't have the spoons...

Art Feature:

     This week, besides working on the cove of THE STOLEN SOULMATE, I worked on the bookmarks for the DEADLY SIRENS Preorder, which is now available EVERYWHERE, including paperbacks and hardcover book boxes in my SHOP!
