At least according to my body… For one reason or another, I’ve had 2 good nights of sleep… that’s it. The other 5 nights were either 3.5 hours or none with a 3-4 hours nap in the afternoon to recover. It doesn’t make for a lot of word progress or progress in marketing/promoting… so, yeah, not great at all. BUT Exciting News, Pre order has dropped for the next book!

Author's Life:

   After last week's red dye incident, my body is still in recovery. I have an itchy spot on my left hand which is looking better, thankfully, but I’ve had a few IBS flares, and sleep paralysis too, which made me freak out and brain dumped adrenaline into my system to counteract it.

    Wednesday Night, I went up to bed at a decent time (for me) only to come back downstairs an hour and a half later, due to IBS. I got a 4 hour nap that afternoon, but despite this, I went back to bed around the same time Thursday night, only to semi-wake up an hour and 45 minutes later in a panic because I couldn’t move my limbs. A massive adrenaline dump later and an hour later, I was wide awake.

     What do I do on nights with little sleep? I game (Star Wars: the Old Republic) or do chores, because I don’t have the bandwidth/mental capacity for the writing/editing or art. If I did try to edit, I’d most likely delete massive chunks just because “I didn’t like them” instead of reworking them.

     I did get much better sleep last night and went to bed very early for me 10:15 p.m. and didn't wake up until 4:45 a.m. so I got 5.5 hours! Which is why this is late, because I didn't have the bandwidth to get this done before bed, due to not sleeping Thursday night.

   UPDATE: Good news! My Neurologist got my migraine meds approved by my new insurance, and it only cost me $27.75 for it instead of $900+ without insurance.

Editor Update/Request:

   Matt (My editor, Manager, & alpha reader from Australia) is going to have another procedure for his heart, so keep him in your thoughts (and prayers if you're the religious type). Thank you!

      Autumn’s Equinox went from 102,220 to 112,838 and I wrote a few other little things this week, totaling 11,864 words… It’s been rough goings this week.

     Total word count for this week: 11,864

August Goal: 65,000 current progress 29,049 (44.69%)

Editing

    I’ve done no editing into Death, Desires, & Inner Demons (yes, it has a page now), or Kalista books 8-9… I have been listening to the latter and making notes of things to change but haven’t opened the documents to do so. I’ve not had enough bandwidth to sit down and do the things. Just writing this newsletter was rough…

    Also, the copy of Fated Angel for my dad to edit was water damaged when it arrived, so I had to get a second copy, which arrived yesterday afternoon. Now, I have to mark it up/block off the "adult content."
