Anniversary Preperations

I’ve been Hella busy with preparations for the Anniversary Rerelease of the original trilogy, and I can’t believe a week has already flown by!

New header has a damask background with the new logo in the middle and fiery wings to either side.
In the foreground are the NEW COVERS for the books, which I showed off on my social media this week, along with the bookmarks, stickers, rubber duckies, and TEE SHIRT!

Author's Life:

No more walking boot! Though, that was sort of by chance not by choice. The boot was most definitely a good thing to have, but on Monday night, after going with Dale to get our 2023 Subaru Crosstrek and starting the packing of a BIG BUNDLE order, the line to the release valve snapped. I’m returning it, but it sucks that it didn’t even last 10 days. I didn’t even use it every day or all the time. Just when I was walking around or out of the house.

I wasn’t allowed to drive the car until Friday, due to doctor’s orders, but I LOVE the new car. I’ve named her Nemi after one of the characters in the books whom readers meet briefly in The Haunted Angel... She does have a book soon-ish...

Our "New to Us" 2023 Subaru Crosstrek (in powder blue "Cool-Grey Khaki") parked in front of the door to our apartment.

So far this week, in preparation for the Anniversary Rerelease,
I’ve:

• Remade all 3 covers
• Designed 3 bookmarks with said covers
• Reworded all 3 blurbs
• Edited all of A Born Angel while doing the art.
• Added the Epilogue, which was 2,000 where I had no idea what was coming next and the end slapped me across the face.
• Ordered the proof copy to check printing and so forth.
• Started editing through A Brave Sacrifice. The beginning got a lot of fixes and nearly 900 words added.
• Made 2 promotional videos showing off the new covers.
• Updated the website:
  • Updated the Born Angel sample.
  • Updated all the cover pictures.
  • Changed all the blurbs to the new trimmed ones.
  • Added the Pre-order to the store.
• Designed a LIMITED EDITION Tee shirt!
• Reformatted A Born Angel after receiving the proof copy due to some of the paragraphs being the wrong size or font (MS Word was being strange).

This week, I’m editing A Brave Sacrifice… Also, Beta Readers have all but finished The Fated Angel!

October Sales/funds Goal:

(Edited) October Goal: $400

Progress: $280/70%

THANK YOU TO ROB FOR ORDERING THE BIG BOOK BOX BUNDLE!

This month goal break down for transparency:
$200 help alleviate some of the last car repairs
$200 medical bills...

When this goal is met:

I’ll write up a Short Story from Chaos's POV as she won the “character contest” poll that I ran a few months ago. AND I’ll host a raffle for anyone who contributes to the goal. Winner will get a free chibi drawing (1 purchase = 1 entry).

How to contribute and enter the raffle

📚 Buying stock books (I have 36 paperbacks) all are a bit dinged, so are discounted in the Big Book Bundle and the Created Angel and Kalista Chronicles listing,

📱Buying ebooks from my website or anything (books or digital pictures) from my Ko-fi shop. This is the cheapest for you and quickest buy-to-bank for me. (Pre orders don't count toward the goal)

☕  Commissioning me via Ko-fi for Digital Art! I currently have sale listings for 16x9 character portraits (which can be used for Book Covers: 6 slots available) for only $50, and Chibi profile Pics for $20 (4 slots available).

🖼️ Or donate on Ko-fi or through my paypal.me link (though, I'd rather you just buy art or something in the shop🥺I feel like a burden and indebted if people just donate.)

The Books:

Writing:

This week I’ve added words to A Born Angel & A Brave Sacrifice! That’s the only projects I’ve been working on… I’ve been focused on the cover art promos and such…

Art Feature

Today you get the video for the cover reveal cause I haven’t done any other art. Next week will be something COMPLETELY different, cause it’s stuck in my head, and I wanna render it! Yes, Lilah, that one in the Cryptic Dance.

Feel free to leave me a comment at the bottom of the page about what you thought or if you had a question. I'll answer them when I can.
